Over the summer I was working with the National Film Board, commissioned to do a photo essay profiling the affects of the recession on youth. It’s one of my first serious projects, photographing and interviewing my friend Jess. I’ve never seen so much paper work, contracts etc etc etc, though I’m quite happy I was hired to do it, I think the product turned out to be exactly what I had hoped it to be. Plus, I’ve always wanted to photograph Jess.
The NFB is producing a lot of amazing work for this project on the economic crisis.
